Job Description
Population health strategy lead improving Medicare Stars outcomes at Humana, a U.S. healthcare company. Designing programs, analyzing data, and advancing quality initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and execute initiatives to improve health outcomes for defined populations
- Design evidence-based population health programs
- Coordinate care management
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address health disparities, optimize resource utilization, and advance quality initiatives
- Design and implement initiatives addressing health risks, disparities, and gaps in care
- Analyze data and population metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Measure program effectiveness and adjust strategy to achieve targeted outcomes
- Build and maximize relationships with member- and provider-facing stakeholders
- Monitor initiative performance and develop deep, holistic operational reporting
- Provide regular executive summary roll-ups to Stars leadership
Requirements:
- 8+ years of strategy development and implementation
- Proficiency in evaluating complex data, using that data to tell a story, and presenting it clearly
- Ability to interpret and leverage data and analytics to improve strategy and make recommendations
- Experience in strategy consulting, business strategy, clinical and/or operations areas
- Strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- Effective facilitator and influencer
- Master's Degree in Public Health, Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge and experience in health care environment/managed care and/or Medicare Stars (preferred)
- Agile or product management certification (preferred)
- Strong analytics background (preferred)
- This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
- Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload
