Job Description

Strategy & Operations Analyst supporting business operations analysis and driving strategic decisions at Akamai through data collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation through data and analysis
  • Becoming an expert on various datasets to provide guidance, analysis and recommendations to our stakeholders
  • Streamlining and optimizing cross-functional processes to maximize productivity
  • Working with the Business Intelligence team on dashboard reporting requirements
  • Analyzing complex data and translating into actionable recommendations
  • Defining goals and KPIs, building out the reporting, summarizing and presenting progress to executive stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in highly analytical environments
  • Demonstrate effective business-partnering skills, particularly with senior management
  • Be able to perform data analysis and report findings (Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau)
  • Possess effective analytical and quantitative capabilities with an ability to provide data-backed analysis
  • Have experience with Salesforce and PowerPoint/Google Slides and a background in consulting or business strategy teams
