Job Description
Strategy & Operations Analyst supporting business operations analysis and driving strategic decisions at Akamai through data collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing high performance business value creation and transformation through data and analysis
- Becoming an expert on various datasets to provide guidance, analysis and recommendations to our stakeholders
- Streamlining and optimizing cross-functional processes to maximize productivity
- Working with the Business Intelligence team on dashboard reporting requirements
- Analyzing complex data and translating into actionable recommendations
- Defining goals and KPIs, building out the reporting, summarizing and presenting progress to executive stakeholders
Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in highly analytical environments
- Demonstrate effective business-partnering skills, particularly with senior management
- Be able to perform data analysis and report findings (Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau)
- Possess effective analytical and quantitative capabilities with an ability to provide data-backed analysis
- Have experience with Salesforce and PowerPoint/Google Slides and a background in consulting or business strategy teams
