Job Description
Manager leading enterprise collections for Samsara’s Connected Operations IoT platform. Driving cash collection, team performance, automation, and cross-functional resolution of account issues.
Responsibilities:
- Own collections performance, including aging, past-due reduction, and dispute resolution velocity, for enterprise account portfolios
- Coach and manage collections analysts and specialists
- Lead strategic initiatives to meet collections targets and align strategies with OTC and enterprise goals
- Manage escalations and customer communication on complex accounts
- Partner with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, Customer Success, FinSys, and Treasury to resolve invoicing, contract, and payment issues
- Drive process improvements and automation across tools, workflows, and reporting
- Participate in reviews of OTC policies and SOX controls
- Ensure team practices remain compliant and up to date
- Represent OTC/Collections in cross-functional initiatives
- Hire, develop, and lead an inclusive, engaged, high-performing team
- Champion and role model Samsara's cultural principles
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years of experience in Order-to-Cash, Revenue Operations, Billing, or Shared Services
- 3–5+ years of supervisory/people management experience
- Demonstrated ability to support team objectives and deliver results through others
- Strong knowledge of Order-to-Cash / Accounts Receivable processes, including collections and dispute management
- Understanding of AR's role in the broader financial picture
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership
- Ability to drive process optimization and automation initiatives
- Working knowledge of SOX controls / policy compliance in a finance operations environment
- Hands-on experience using both Salesforce and NetSuite, or comparable CRM and ERP systems
- Experience investigating customer, opportunity, contract, order, invoice, payment, credit, or account data
- Experience implementing or using AR and O2C automation platforms such as HighRadius, Growfin, or Tesorio
- Experience with SAP or Oracle
