Job Description

Support Specialist handling customer inquiries via phone and email for energy efficiency programs in Canada. Documenting conversations and navigating different energy programs while providing accurate information.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling customer inquiries via phone and email.
  • Documenting conversations and helping people navigate different energy efficiency programs.
  • Recommending products or services to customers.
  • Respond to inbound calls from program participants, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Working with marginalized populations.
  • Data entry, verification, and report generation.
  • Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), including hold times and after-call work completion.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience and interest in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to learn how to use unfamiliar software relatively quickly.
  • A strong desire to be a part of the solution to climate change.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of management, colleagues, and external contacts.
  • Oral fluency in French, Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Punjabi, or Tagalog is a strong asset.
