Job Description

Survey Field Manager responsible for managing field operations and ensuring quality inspections for Castle High Value and Risk Control at EXL. Coordinating teams and improving operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily workflow and operational performance within the assigned territory
  • Assign inspection work to Field Consultants according to company guidelines and SLAs
  • Ensure Field Consultants meet quality, professionalism, and production standards
  • Monitor and meet time-service, production, and performance metrics for the region
  • Manage regional budgets, including acquisition costs and service-level adherence
  • Maintain staffing levels needed to meet customer and company demands
  • Monitor phone calls and email communications, ensuring timely responses
  • Interact with clients and maintain strong, professional customer relationships
  • Support training timelines and ongoing development of Field Consultants
  • Collaborate with leadership and contribute to operational and process improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of inspection rules, processes, and applicable state regulations
  • Technical expertise in insurance inspections and risk control practices
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle time-sensitive issues
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills
  • Proficiency with computer equipment and software, including Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field **or** equivalent experience (e.g., 3–5 years in insurance inspections or risk management)
  • Previous management or Field Specialist experience with OSI/Castle is preferred
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to lead by example
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, self-development, and goal setting, with openness to feedback during one-on-one sessions
