Job Description

Tech Lead ensuring efficient infrastructure and connectivity solutions while managing critical operations for educational excellence at Grupo Salta. Passionate about transforming lives through education.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team (individual development plans, feedback, performance, prioritization, work organization).
  • Develop the team's technical autonomy and raise delivery standards (mentoring, practice reviews, standardization).
  • Ensure availability and performance of services and platforms, acting proactively.
  • Establish operational routines: monitoring, incidents, recurring issues, capacity, performance, and continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of SLAs for critical services (with metrics and reporting).
  • Ensure the operation and evolution of connectivity between cloud, on-premises, and schools (end-to-end view).
  • Work with redundancy, routing, VPNs/links, and connectivity standards to ensure stability and predictability.
  • Operate and evolve the change management process (planning, risk, communication, rollback, traceability).
  • Keep documentation, inventory, and controls up to date; monitor and report results using metrics.
  • Work in partnership with Information Security to ensure changes and architecture consider the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability) and follow best practices.
  • Prepare and monitor the area's budget and manage vendor payments, ensuring financial predictability.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and optimization initiatives (e.g., rightsizing, reservations/savings plans, resource cleanup, contract optimization, automation).
  • Drive automations and standardizations that increase scalability and reduce rework.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in a Technology-related field.
  • Proven experience leading operations of critical (production) environments with an end-to-end perspective.
  • Advanced AWS (architecture, operations, IAM, networking, cost management, and troubleshooting).
  • Observability (monitoring, metrics, logs, tracing; defining actionable alerts; SLO/SLA experience is a plus).
  • Automation (scripting, pipelines, IaC/operational automation; ability to reduce manual work safely).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Workspace.
  • Experience using Zabbix and Datadog.
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with DevOps technologies/stacks and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and firewalls.
  • Experience managing remote teams.
