Job Description
Technical Program Manager driving cross-functional security and compliance initiatives at Samsara, a Connected Operations Cloud company. Improving processes, audits, KPIs, and AI-enabled workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical project and program management for high-impact, cross-functional Enterprise Security projects
- Support multiple projects and report progress on planned execution
- Provide operational support to engineering leads for smooth, on-time project and initiative delivery
- Scope and deliver cross-functional projects on time with stakeholders
- Communicate status of enterprise security and compliance initiatives
- Support planning and execution of roadmaps, releases, and work backlogs
- Assist with security audits to reduce risk and satisfy compliance frameworks
- Improve measurable Security team KPIs and related processes
- Incorporate AI technologies and working methods to scale processes and visibility
- Develop and contribute to a program-management community of practice
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and across new offices
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Project or Program Management experience in a fast-paced, technical company
- Experience managing priorities across multiple teams, building processes, and coordinating tight schedules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate technical or analytical work to non-technical partners
- Strong ownership, collaboration, curiosity, and attention to detail
- Ability to learn quickly and navigate ambiguity
- Proactive self-starter with a track record of leveraging data and technology to improve processes and drive impactful decisions
- Experience using AI tooling and methods to improve workflow and team-process efficiency
- Experience using Agile practices
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and other reporting tools
- Experience working on Information Security and/or Compliance programs
- Experience driving strategy planning and roadmap definition
- Passion for data and improving efficiencies
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies such as AI
- Must secure and maintain the legal right to work in the United States and specified work location
