Job Description
Temporary Catering Sales Manager driving group sales and room revenue for Hilton’s Indianapolis hotel. Managing client relationships, contracts, bookings, and sales team performance.
Responsibilities:
- Research, prospect, and qualify leads through proactive outreach and database mining to drive group sales and exceed lead generation goals
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned market segments, nurturing existing accounts and developing new ones to grow room revenue and overall profitability
- Analyze hotel and market trends to create and execute business plans and marketing initiatives that capture demand and meet sales goals
- Prepare proposals, conduct site visits, negotiate terms, and secure contracts tailored to client needs while maximizing revenue
- Coordinate customer requirements including rooms, food and beverage, and meeting space
- Enter account and reservation information accurately and timely in the hotel’s sales management system
- Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
