Job Description
Training Coordinator managing training compliance and documentation for Texas law enforcement. Ensuring adherence to TCOLE standards and facilitating training activities remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule trainings
- Create, monitor, and manage registration platform
- Report attendance
- Provide on-site administration support during trainings
- Ensure all training activities comply with Texas Occupations Code, TCOLE rules, and Texas Administrative Code provisions
- Monitor TCOLE rules to ensure timely implementation within HTI
- Serve as subject-matter resource on TCOLE standards
- Assign instructors in conjunction with the State Director
- Verify instructor credentials, licenses, and eligibility to teach assigned courses
- Enforce attendance standards, testing and evaluation integrity, and documentation requirements
- Maintain training records
- Create and disseminate training flyers to partner agencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 years’ experience as TCOLE Training Coordinator or working in a training department at a Texas law enforcement agency
- Experience assisting an agency to become a TCOLE Training Provider, preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficient in Canva, preferred
- TCOLE Basic Instructor Certificate or ability to obtain
