Job Description
Hiring an associate consultant resource to support training programs for the Department of Defense. Responsible for site visits, workshops, and curriculum development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct approximately 30 site visits per year to locations across the U.S., including Guam and Puerto Rico
- Support and/or facilitate training workshops for program directors and instructors, focusing on curriculum relevancy, teaching techniques, and professional development
- Review and assess existing lesson plans and recommend updates aligned with educational goals and emerging technologies
- Support the development of an annual program effectiveness report, including data collection, analysis, and drafting
- Assist in strategic communications and outreach
- Contribute to the development of best practices and performance enhancement strategies for STARBASE sites
- Support the expansion of afterschool and outreach programs, including those serving Native American communities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant DoD regulations, educational standards, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Public Policy, STEM, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in program evaluation, compliance, or curriculum support, preferably within a DoD or government-regulated environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of DoD policies and educational program standards
- Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% of the time) for site visits
- Strong technical review skills and experience
- Preferred experience improving quality, efficiency, and effectiveness by which client program information is shared and communicated.
