Job Description
VP of Engineering leading technical strategy and product architecture at Devlane, a remote staff augmentation company in Latin America. Responsible for evolving platforms into data-driven products focusing on data ingestion, AI integration, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical strategy and product architecture while remaining actively involved in development.
- Responsible for evolving the platform from an estimation-based model into a data-driven product, with a strong focus on data ingestion, AI integration, and scalability.
Requirements:
- 8 years of hands-on experience with backend development and software architecture
- Extensive experience with data ingestion pipelines
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling
- Experience with external API integrations (ideally Plaid, Codat, Railz)
- Proven ability to design and implement multi-tenant architectures
- Strong understanding of AI/LLMs and RAG pipelines
- Excellent experience working with Azure (Data Lake, Azure SQL, App Services)
- Experience building data-heavy products (fintech, analytics, etc.)
- Ability to make key technical decisions for scalable systems
- Strong financial knowledge (P&L, EBITDA, cash flow)
- Advanced English level
