Job Description
Virtual Assistant supporting a hospice and palliative care team remotely. Managing calendars, correspondence, confidential records, documents, and virtual meetings.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate virtual meetings for the care team
- Handle email and phone correspondence with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
- Prepare, format, and edit documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain confidential records and manage data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Provide general administrative support, including organising digital files and resources
- Assist in coordinating team projects and tracking progress on key initiatives
- Act as a reliable point of contact for internal team members, ensuring clear and timely communication
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar remote support role
- Exceptional organisational, planning, and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with a keen eye for detail
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other standard office software
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity
- Proactive, self-motivated, and resourceful work ethic
- Experience in a healthcare, hospice, or non-profit environment is highly desirable but not essential
- Compassionate and empathetic nature aligned with the organisation's core values
