Job Description
Swiss German voice contributor recording natural conversations and customer-service scenarios for Welo Data’s AI services. Producing professional WAV audio from a home studio.
Responsibilities:
- Audition with two 30-second samples using a home studio setup
- Complete two scheduled recording sessions of approximately four hours each once approved
- Participate in natural conversation, prompted discussion, and scripted customer-service scenarios
- Record from a home studio setup across both sessions
- Produce audio samples meeting WAV, 24-bit, 48 kHz, no-compression specifications
Requirements:
- Native-level Swiss German (CH) speaker
- Natural, authentic, friendly, conversational customer-service speaking style
- Dry, quiet home recording space
- Professional external microphone; built-in laptop microphones, phone mics, AirPods, Samsung Buds, headphone-attached mics, headsets, and gaming headsets are rejected
- Ability to produce studio-quality audio samples
- Ability to export WAV format, 24-bit, 48 kHz, with no compression
- Audition with two 30-second samples using a home studio setup
- Professional voice recording experience is sought; experience as a podcaster, YouTuber, streamer, recording artist, or voice-over actor is beneficial but not required
Benefits:
- Compensation of $65.00 USD per hour
- Approximately 8 paid hours total across two scheduled recording sessions
