Job Description

Vice President of Investor Relations defining and executing strategy for Rackspace Technology. Leading investor communications and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and execute Rackspace Technology's Investor Relations strategy, ensuring alignment with the Company's business objectives and long-term value creation strategy.
  • Lead the strategic planning and ongoing development of all Investor Relations activities that enhance Rackspace Technology's reputation and credibility within the investment community.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and Executive Leadership Team by providing market intelligence, investor feedback, and insights into industry and competitive trends.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, investment professionals, and current and prospective shareholders.
  • Lead communications and information exchange with Wall Street firms covering Rackspace Technology, ensuring analysts remain informed on publicly disclosed business developments and strategic initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a public-facing role representing a publicly traded company or an investment firm, with demonstrated expertise in Investor Relations, capital markets, corporate finance, or financial communications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience, including responsibility for developing strategy, leading teams, and partnering with executive leadership.
  • Experience building and managing relationships with institutional investors, financial analysts, investment professionals, and shareholders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading quarterly earnings communications, investor presentations, analyst engagements, roadshows, and other capital markets communications.
  • Strong understanding of SEC disclosure requirements, public company reporting, Regulation FD, and corporate governance practices.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to interpret market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive dynamics.
