Job Description

VP leading pre-sales architecture, demonstrations, and POCs for HiddenLayer’s AI cybersecurity SaaS platform. Building teams and driving enterprise revenue through technical sales strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the pre-sales team, including Sales Engineers and Solution Architects
  • Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and design tailored solutions
  • Develop and execute the overall pre-sales strategy aligned with sales goals
  • Oversee and participate in product demonstrations, solution presentations, and proof-of-concept engagements
  • Serve as a trusted technical and business advisor to prospects and customers
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams on product knowledge, use cases, and differentiators
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing pre-sales team through training and career development
  • Improve pre-sales processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Relay customer feature requests to product and engineering teams and help prioritize the roadmap
  • Define, track, and report pre-sales metrics such as win rates, POC success rates, and time to close
  • Maintain relationships with sales, product, and executive leadership stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role within the cybersecurity industry, preferably in the AI security space
  • Exposure to at least 2 of: Docker, Kubernetes, API Integration, Python/other scripting languages, Cloud networking
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and technologies, focused on AI-driven security solutions
  • Comfort with cloud DevOps, cloud security, command line, and leveraging APIs
  • Proficiency articulating technical concepts and value propositions to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience conducting product demonstrations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and technical presentations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with passion for technology and continuous learning
  • Willingness to travel as needed to client sites and industry events
