Job Description

Website Performance Manager owning dealership website relationships for Team Velocity, an automotive marketing agency. Driving retention, reporting, product enhancements, and portfolio growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Own website relationships for automotive dealership clients
  • Shift client support from reactive to proactive and drive website product vision and delivery
  • Respond quickly to dealership inquiries and resolve most issues immediately
  • Drive product retention and present revenue- and non-revenue-generating enhancements
  • Support portfolio application growth through relationship expansion and customer happiness monitoring
  • Build and maintain client portfolio relationships
  • Manage full and/or complex account loads
  • Understand and articulate user problems; triage and prioritize bugs and issues
  • Execute monthly customer reporting covering KPIs, engagement rates, lead submissions, behavior, Google Analytics, SEO, and customer priorities
  • Assess, prioritize, and present customer feature requests to leadership
  • Communicate priorities, timelines, and deadlines while providing customer guidance
  • Use Salesforce to create product backlogs, track cases, and monitor team efficiency
  • Drive upsell, expansion, and upgrade opportunities with Customer Success counterparts
  • Manage account progress and results to support external client retention
  • Collaborate with digital, creative services, and other departments to coordinate priorities and requests
  • Recommend site performance enhancements, creative services, third-party advisements, and responsive design improvements
  • Monitor KPIs including retention, expansion, engagement, adoption, and advocacy

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 2–3 years' progressive and successful experience in retail automotive digital strategy, automotive agency, and/or automotive retail management
  • Demonstrated understanding of dealership operations
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all levels within a dealership
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategy for websites and advertising, including SEM, display, SEO, Google Ads, and Bing
  • Google certifications (Ads, Analytics, Video, Mobile, etc.)
  • Demonstrated written, verbal, phone communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated customer service and relationship management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High energy, enthusiasm, resilience, determination, proactiveness, relentlessness, and drive
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, website strategy and concepts, website analytics tools, and Google Analytics
  • Solid analytical and data-driven thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must support 8:30 AM–5:30 PM Eastern business hours
  • Candidates must reside in the Continental U.S.; Eastern or Central time zones highly preferred
