Job Description
Wholesale and technical sales professionals auditing AI-generated work for Mercor’s frontier-model training. Reviewing task realism, domain accuracy, grading, and score defensibility.
Responsibilities:
- Audit AI-generated work product in the applicant's professional field
- Review an AI agent's complete attempt at a realistic job-related task, including the task, agent output, produced files, and AI grader scoresheet
- Determine whether the task is realistic and applicable to the profession
- Verify domain content, including standards, figures, regulations, constraints, and terminology
- Review eleven yes/no grading questions and identify disagreements with the grader
- Independently band the work and assess whether the reported score is defensible
- Complete each review in approximately one hour
- Do not perform the task or redo the agent's work
- Provide a short written reason for every judgment
- Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems for Mercor's AI lab and enterprise partners
Requirements:
- Apply to the role matching your background: Sales Representatives, Technical and Scientific Products; First-Line Supervisors of Non-Retail Sales Workers; or Order Clerks
- 4+ years selling technical or scientific products, including sizing, specifying, and quoting them independently; OR 4+ years managing a B2B or distribution sales team, quota, and pipeline; OR 3+ years in order entry and management for a distributor or manufacturer, handling real quotes, POs, and backorders
- Deep practical field knowledge, including experience catching incorrectly specified quotes, correcting proposals, or resolving orders shipped under incorrect terms
- Near-native business English
- Comfort using spreadsheets or PDFs to verify that figures reconcile
- Must be able to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
