Job Description
Remote Sales Associate supporting Heraeus’s Engineered Tissue Solutions wound-care products in Sacramento. Coordinating customers, CRM records, events, orders, and field-sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Regional Sales Directors and Executive Area Managers in planning, coordinating, and executing sales activities
- Serve as a customer point of contact, address inquiries, and resolve issues
- Coordinate follow-up communications to support customer satisfaction and sales initiatives
- Maintain accurate sales, customer interaction, and account records in the CRM system
- Apply best practices for targeting and appropriate reimbursement practices
- Support market research and competitor analysis
- Gather and organize customer feedback for sales and product development teams
- Organize and execute product demonstrations, trade shows, and training sessions
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, materials, forecasts, and performance opportunities for the Executive Area Manager
- Manage scheduling, travel arrangements, and event planning
- Prepare event materials and equipment using approved corporate literature, scientific data, presentations, and claims
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Engineered Tissue Solutions skin substitute products and services
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare decision-makers and influencers
- Facilitate order entry and tracking, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and wound-care advancements
- Share marketplace learnings and identify opportunities with the ETS team
- Ensure activities comply with company policies, ethics standards, and applicable laws
Requirements:
- BS/BA in business, healthcare, or a related field or equivalent experience required
- 1–2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, ideally in healthcare or the medical device industry
- 1–2 years of experience in medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics preferred
- Experience in the healthcare, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry highly desirable
- Familiarity with supporting field sales teams, including scheduling and organizing events, advantageous
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with CRM systems such as Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar
- Comfort with virtual communication tools such as Microsoft Teams
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel
- Flexibility to accommodate travel or work outside standard business hours when required
- Previous experience in startup and medium-sized companies
- Ability to comply with company guidelines, travel/expense guidelines, Code of Ethics, and federal/state/local laws
