Job Description
Workday Technical Program Manager overseeing planning and execution of Workday projects. Collaborating with stakeholders to maximize the potential of Grady’s business applications.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of Business Application projects primarily Workday and related applications.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for Workday implementations, optimizations, and upgrades.
- Drive and lead solution development from conception through deployment for all business applications.
- Manage changes and releases to Workday systems and processes, ensuring smooth transitions and user adoption.
- Manage third party vendor managed solutions like PureOHS, Vizzia RTLS, Docusign, Smartsheet and other business applications.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on project goals.
- Leads and oversees the development and documentation of comprehensive business cases to assess the costs, benefits, ROI, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of highly unique or complex solution proposals.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and escalating issues as needed.
- Utilize Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to facilitate project delivery, including leading ceremonies and coaching teams.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, risk assessments, and budget status.
- Ensure the quality of project deliverables through testing, validation, and adherence to established standards.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields
- 7 years of Project management and vendor product management experience in a healthcare environment
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong bias for action with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering solutions successfully across cross functional domains.
- Broad exposure to multiple products related to healthcare like incident management, nursing systems, tracking systems, Document management, Time management etc.
- Experience in management or technology consulting across the full strategy-to-implementation project lifecycle.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably Workday and Vendor managed solutions.
- Strong understanding of Workday platform, including HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Finance and Supply Chain.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, vendor and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Smartsheet).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with change management and user training.
- Relevant Certifications such as PMP are a plus.
