Job Description
LivaNova cardiopulmonary device sales executive growing New England hospital accounts. Selling and supporting perfusion, oxygenation, and autotransfusion products across a field territory.
Responsibilities:
- Independently accomplish objectives and set priorities in the assigned territory
- Serve as the primary customer contact for sales and support of assigned products
- Meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining appropriate sales prices
- Track and analyze sales progress
- Prioritize accounts, assess opportunities, and develop new business with the manager
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual territory business plans
- Maintain account/customer profiles and account plans
- Develop a consultative role to manage customer training needs and provide customer service
- Support large, strategic accounts as a member of a Field Team
- Adhere to company policies and communicate effectively with corporate and field personnel
- Complete account and territory updates, expense and mileage submissions, and hospital access and credentialing
- Coordinate, direct, and deliver customer in-service training for assigned LivaNova products
- Maintain frequent customer contact throughout the territory
- Travel, including overnight travel, as required
Requirements:
- 3+ years' sales experience in the medical device industry, preferably Cardiac Surgery sales, or clinical experience preferably in cardiovascular settings
- Demonstrated experience providing technical/clinical support to cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, or other surgical specialties in a hospital setting
- Bachelor's degree and/or Clinical Certification (CCP, RN, RT, etc.) required
- Must live within the territory
- Ability to build trusting relationships with perfusionists, cardiovascular surgeons, surgical nurses, and hospital administrators
- Willingness to invest extra time outside company-provided training to learn and sell the products
- Ability to travel, including 5–10% overnight travel
- Ability to maintain hospital access and credentialing
- Ability to work independently in a competitive market
