Job Description
Account Executive II responsible for achieving sales and profitability objectives for Vericast financial services. Engaging clients to build long-lasting partnerships and offer tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve assigned sales targets. 50%
- Deepen existing client relationships—generating incremental business. 10%
- Consult with clients on business issues and marketing program design. Ability to understand client needs, and negotiate costs and services. Resolve sales or delivery issues. 10%
- Work with Strategists and Delivery Teams to execute project specifications and deliver quality results to clients. Develop insightful proposals and deliver strategic sales presentations. 10%
- Manage contracts and up-sell/cross-sell opportunities. 10%
- Meet in person with clients and prospects. 10%
- Participate in a high level of prospecting activities: lead generation, qualifying prospects, discovery, and demonstrating solutions to prospective clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts while seeking new opportunities. 5%
- Sell using data and insights. 5%
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (Required)
- Advanced degree in business or related field (Preferred)
- 5-7 years in a quota carrying sales role; demonstrated ability to close new business and manage relationships.
- Recent sales experience within a financial services vendor company; marketing discipline preferred.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing disciplines.
- Use of data and insight as a solution selling tool.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time; work from home/remote the other 50% of the time.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software, with aptitude to learn systems.
