Job Description
Account Executive driving Benelux sales of IKA’s laboratory and analytical instruments. Building customer relationships, demonstrating products, and expanding the regional customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand the existing customer base in the sales territory
- Provide professional advice and sell laboratory and analytical instruments
- Conduct product demonstrations and marketing events at customer sites or at the headquarters in Staufen
- Plan, organize, and execute table-top shows
- Organize in-house exhibitions and participate in international trade fairs
- Monitor the market and competitors to identify new business opportunities
- Provide regular team reporting
- Maintain and update customer data in the CRM system
- Drive sales growth and build strong customer relationships in the Benelux region
Requirements:
- Completed degree in natural sciences (e.g. Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology) or a comparable technical qualification
- Ideally 1–2 years of professional experience in direct sales, preferably in the laboratory or analytical industry
- Excellent English and Dutch language skills, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, paired with a confident and professional demeanor
- High level of self-motivation, goal orientation, and a structured working style
- Solution-oriented thinking and strong customer focus
- A valid driver’s license is essential
- Proficient in using Windows and common MS Office applications
- Residence in or around Antwerp, or willingness to relocate there
