Job Description
Account Executive developing and strengthening advisor relationships in the Small Business market segment. Focused on providing sales strategies and support to advisors within a defined territory.
Responsibilities:
- Building and strengthening existing advisor relationships within a defined territory
- Developing new advisors that are looking to expand their practices into the Small Group business marketplace
- Providing sales strategies, concepts, marketing ideas and support to advisors
- Promoting Manulife's group products and service capabilities and act as a resource for product and service consultation
- Achieving the Group Office sales, persistency objectives and profitability targets and grow a profitable block of business
Requirements:
- College / University degree or equivalent industry experience
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills together with strong active listening skills
- Strong team building skills
- Ability to negotiate and influence effectively throughout the organization
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Creative analytical skills
- Proven ability to take initiative, be a strong self-manager and display integrity
- Willingness to develop as an expert in Group Benefit strategies
- CEBS Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation or ability to attain within 3 years
- PC skills on internet, email and Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
