Job Description

Sales Account Executive driving revenue growth in the grocery B2B sector. Remote role based within North America with a focus on lead generation and client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage decision-makers within grocery chains, superstores, and retail networks through targeted prospecting, cold outreach, and strategic networking.
  • Independently generate and manage a high-quality pipeline of qualified leads in the grocery and superstore B2B space.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery calls, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing deals with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and deliver compelling, customized solutions that address specific operational and commercial challenges faced by grocery and retail clients.
  • Partner with operations, account management, and marketing teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and long-term satisfaction.
  • Proactively identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts to maximize lifetime value.
  • Leverage marketing and PR initiatives to support lead generation, brand awareness, and market positioning.
  • Travel within North America as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and strengthen relationships.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably within grocery chains, superstores, or related retail verticals in North America.
  • Demonstrated success in hunting self-generated leads and closing deals independently across the full sales cycle.
  • Established network of contacts in decision-making roles within the grocery or retail sector.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a focus on consultative, value-based selling.
  • High level of self-discipline, goal orientation, and ability to thrive in a remote, results-driven environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% across North America.
