Job Description
Account Director driving revenue growth for DTC brands and retailers. Responsible for planning and implementation of marketing strategies across various channels and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Planning, preparation and presentation of mail plans, and recommendations for new and current accounts.
- Develop and implement client strategy.
- Role focuses on clients’ CRM and customer acquisition programs through direct mail and catalogs.
- Recognize opportunities to cross-sell and upsell other Belardi Wong services and products.
- Detailed analytical skills to report on campaign, seasonal, and annual success metrics.
- Create PowerPoint decks to review results, plans, and strategy options with clients.
- Maintain accuracy of reporting & integrity of customer service relationships with clients.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technology advancement in the industry.
- Responsible for keeping client schedules and establishing meeting dates.
- Work with Account Leads to review Account Status and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Overall management and retention of client accounts.
- Proactive problem resolution.
- Participate in external and internal meetings as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7+ years direct marketing experience required.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) required.
- Mailer, Co-op database, or agency experience preferred.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge.
- Knowledge of general industry procedures, practices, and terminology.
- Knowledge of supervisory techniques to accomplish instruction, motivation, and training of personnel.
- Skill in group facilitation and leadership.
