Job Description

Account Manager managing renewals and expansions of contracts in a top cybersecurity firm. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive retention and long-term customer value.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end renewal lifecycle for assigned customer accounts, ensuring on-time, accurate, and successful contract renewals.
  • Drive expansion opportunities including upsells, cross-sells, seat growth, and term extensions across the portfolio.
  • Develop and execute account renewal and growth strategies aligned to customer outcomes and business objectives.
  • Forecast renewals and expansion accurately and maintain pipeline hygiene in CRM systems.
  • Act as the primary commercial point of contact for customers post-sale, building trusted relationships with procurement, IT, security, and executive stakeholders.
  • Partner with reseller and channel partners to coordinate renewal motions, pricing, and deal execution.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to align adoption, value realization, and renewal strategy.
  • Engage Sales Engineering and Account Executives as needed to support complex expansions or technical validation.
  • Work with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to structure and close renewal and expansion agreements.
  • Identify and proactively mitigate renewal risks, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Provide customer and partner feedback to internal teams to improve offerings, processes, and customer experience.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of our cybersecurity solutions, licensing models, and competitive positioning.
  • Understand customer security priorities, budget cycles, and procurement processes.
  • Navigate complex buying environments with multiple stakeholders and approval layers.

Requirements:

  • >5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field required or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric and consultative mindset.
  • High adaptability and learning agility.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in technology, software, or security solutions.
  • Strong negotiation skills, large account relationship management, and consultative approach.
