Job Description

Account Executive driving new business development for RTM Business Group. Focused on sales in the EdTech, Healthcare, Government, and Banking sectors with regular travel for events.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales process from end to end
  • Grow, develop and manage a 7 figure book of business
  • Research target market and identify leads
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria
  • Prospect leads through outbound calls and emails
  • Conduct daily prospecting activities: ~60 emails and ~30 cold calls
  • Pitch to C-suite decision makers
  • Act as main point of contact for the client
  • Onsite account management and rebooking
  • Work directly with Sales Managers to manage pipeline
  • Maintain, monitor and report key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Ability to travel regularly to events
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 or more years of experience in B2B events
  • Background in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing or B2B events
  • Professional & interpersonal communication skills
  • Passion for sales and professional development
  • Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented
  • Must be proactive and able to work under pressure
  • Competency with technology and ability to learn new software
