Job Description
Account Executive driving new business development for RTM Business Group. Focused on sales in the EdTech, Healthcare, Government, and Banking sectors with regular travel for events.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales process from end to end
- Grow, develop and manage a 7 figure book of business
- Research target market and identify leads
- Qualify prospects against company criteria
- Prospect leads through outbound calls and emails
- Conduct daily prospecting activities: ~60 emails and ~30 cold calls
- Pitch to C-suite decision makers
- Act as main point of contact for the client
- Onsite account management and rebooking
- Work directly with Sales Managers to manage pipeline
- Maintain, monitor and report key performance indicators
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of sales experience
- Ability to travel regularly to events
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 or more years of experience in B2B events
- Background in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing or B2B events
- Professional & interpersonal communication skills
- Passion for sales and professional development
- Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented
- Must be proactive and able to work under pressure
- Competency with technology and ability to learn new software
