Job Description

Account Manager driving HVAC and data-center valve and automation sales for Bray International, a global industrial flow-control solutions provider. Managing contractors, distributors, engineers, and OEM relationships across Houston.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth of valve and automation solutions within data center and HVAC markets
  • Develop strategic relationships with contractors, distributors, engineers, and OEMs
  • Call on building automation companies, mechanical contractors, distributors, and consulting engineers
  • Support skid manufacturers and building automation system contractors throughout the post-order phase
  • Anticipate customer needs, respond promptly, coordinate resources, and resolve issues
  • Identify sales growth opportunities with new and existing accounts
  • Develop sales strategies to secure new business
  • Provide local service and support for Bray products throughout the assigned trading area
  • Promote Bray Commercial Division products through sales calls, lunch-and-learn presentations, and other channels
  • Support customers with product selection, pricing, and project execution before and after order award
  • Use Bray’s CRM program to document and manage account relationships, customer needs, follow-up activities, and sales opportunities
  • Monitor new construction activity and opportunities throughout the district
  • Achieve established sales goals for the territory

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a four-year technical degree
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a direct sales role within a business-to-business technical environment
  • Previous Inside Sales and/or Application Engineering experience highly preferred
  • Experience with data centers, HVAC, and/or controls highly preferred
  • Strong electromechanical aptitude
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues and develop practical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including group presentation skills
  • Ability to achieve goals through tenacity, professionalism, teamwork, and proactive customer support
  • Frequent travel within the designated territory
  • Access to reliable transportation and ability to manage travel arrangements
  • Successful background screening
  • Compliance with federal requirements, including drug testing for controlled substances
