Job Description

Associate Account Executive responsible for driving sales and maintaining client relationships at a dental management software company. Ideal for entry-level candidates interested in sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist a regional sales team in lead generation, client outreach, and follow-ups.
  • Help with identifying potential customers through market research.
  • Contact prospects in a sales region through calls, emails, and other communication channels to introduce products and services.
  • Present offerings and engage in meaningful conversations to understand customer needs.
  • Assist in closing deals for open territories on a temporary basis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services to effectively communicate their benefits to clients and answer any questions.
  • Qualify incoming leads, schedule meetings or product demos for senior sales representatives, and ensure all leads are properly tracked in the CRM system.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including calls, emails, and meetings, using CRM software.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering timely support, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with the Account Executives and Area Sales Managers to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

Requirements:

  • 1 plus years’ experience in a software sales, sales development or business development position
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a positive attitude
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management
  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Nice to have: Experience in a dental or healthcare organization
  • BS or BA in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field(s)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
