Job Description

Associate Marketing Manager developing marketing programs for utility clients at a virtual energy-efficiency firm. Managing strategy, creative projects, budgets, and client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop client-specific marketing strategies with the Marketing Manager to meet program goals and objectives
  • Provide project briefs for creative projects
  • Support project intakes, timelines, task updates and overall project management
  • Manage projects using project management software and collaborate on timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with copywriters, designers, learning experience designers and web developers on strategy development
  • Develop deep knowledge of program goals and objectives to align marketing strategies with achievement
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on budget understanding and management
  • Coordinate technical and background information and content from the program side
  • Serve as initial reviewer for creative projects, ensuring client brand standards and needs are met
  • Coordinate reviews with internal and external clients
  • Provide customer service to internal and external clients
  • Respond to emails, develop agendas, take notes and lead meetings when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Required location: Utah or Idaho
  • Bachelor’s degree (or significant coursework completed), with preference for marketing or similar area of study
  • Three to five years of marketing experience including project management, plan development and client relationship management
  • Experience managing multiple clients and programs across multiple locations
  • Intermediate to advanced skill in Microsoft Office software programs, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Some understanding of Adobe software, Zoom and project management software preferred but not required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in utility incentive programs
  • Experience in energy conservation industry and/or utility incentive programs preferred but not required
  • Previous experience working in a virtual environment desirable but not required
  • Proven customer service and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of process, numbers, and calculations
  • Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
