Job Description
Medical Receptionist supporting health practice with front-desk responsibilities. Requires experience, HIPAA compliance, and strong English skills.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming patient calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
- Accurately register and update patient information in the system
- Handle patient inquiries and provide basic information as needed
- Ensure all patient data is handled in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate with clinical staff to support smooth daily operations
Requirements:
- Proven prior experience as a Medical Receptionist
- HIPAA certification (mandatory)
- Strong experience with:
- Call handling
- Appointment scheduling
- Patient registration and data accuracy
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
- High attention to detail and professionalism when handling sensitive patient information
