Job Description

Bookkeeper maintaining accurate financial records for clients at VirtueStaff. Responsibilities include transaction management, reporting, and compliance in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Utilize accounting software to manage and record data efficiently
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
  • Coordinate with clients to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Maintain organized financial documentation and records

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks required
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications (such as CPA or similar) are a plus but not mandatory
