Job Description

Business Development Intern at BCom gaining hands-on experience in client relationship building and agency operations. Support team initiatives while learning business development strategies in a digital-first marketing agency.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective clients and organizations aligned with BCom’s services and mission
  • Help qualify opportunities by gathering background information, funding details, and strategic context
  • Support the tracking and organization of leads, outreach efforts, and pipeline activity
  • Join business development and pitch meetings to take clear, structured, and actionable notes
  • Summarize key takeaways, action items, and next steps for internal teams
  • Assist in building pitch decks and proposal materials from outline to final formatting
  • Conduct research and proofreading support for RFP responses
  • Help maintain accurate opportunity records in our Asana-based CRM and internal systems
  • Support light reporting on pipeline activity and outreach progress
  • Provide coordination support that helps keep the business development process moving forward

Requirements:

  • Current college student or recent graduate (all majors welcome; relevant fields may include business, marketing, communications, political science, or related areas)
  • Strong interest in business development, strategy, sales, or agency work
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable taking initiative and asking thoughtful questions
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Comfortable working in Google Workspace; familiarity with Asana or CRM tools is a plus, not required
  • Eagerness to learn how strategy, operations, and client relationships intersect
