Job Description
Business Intelligence Pricing Analyst developing pricing strategies and data-driven insights for Nonstop Administration and Insurance Services, a health insurance company. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze pricing performance, profitability, elasticity, and competitive positioning across products and markets
- Analyze healthcare claims cost trends and update pricing to reflect past and projected costs
- Develop pricing models, cost analyses, and scenario forecasts to support data-informed pricing decisions
- Evaluate current pricing structures and recommend adjustments to optimize revenue and margin
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior to inform strategy
- Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Identify data trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic pricing decisions
- Create automated reporting tools and processes to streamline pricing analysis
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Product to support pricing proposals, revenue forecasts, and go-to-market strategies
- Present insights and recommendations to leadership in a clear, concise, and data-driven manner
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of pricing-related data within BI systems
- Maintain datasets, pricing tables, and inputs used for analysis and forecasting
- Recommend and implement improvements to data systems, collection methods, and analytics workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in pricing analytics, business intelligence, or financial/data analysis
- Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar BI platforms
- Knowledge of pricing principles, margin analysis, and forecasting methodologies
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
- Strong communication skills—verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, remote environment
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
