Job Description
Pricing Analyst for defense technology company prepares proposals for contracts and assists senior analysts. Collaborates on pricing analysis, estimation, and compliance with project specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts
- Assists Senior Pricing Analysts on large/complex proposals
- Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications/requirements
- Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents costs estimates to management
- Prepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing
- Identifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicable
- Develops different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline is required or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum 2 – 5 years of related experience in Estimating and/or Finance
- Possesses strong project management skills including organizing, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating work assignments to meet proposal milestones
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (intermediate Excel skills required)
- Analytical, verbal and written communication skills
