Job Description
Business Intelligence Specialist developing enterprise reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for TD, a global financial institution. Streamlining reporting and advising senior stakeholders across business units.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse portfolio of business activities and reporting
- Design and develop complex presentations, reports, dashboards, and scorecards
- Ensure alignment of metrics across the organization
- Act as a technical working lead and resource to others
- Work closely with senior leadership on significant projects
- Streamline, improve, and simplify the reporting stack
- Integrate data across multiple organizational platforms
- Use data visualization techniques and tools to support multiple businesses
- Lead enterprise data visualization needs and ensure alignment with overall strategies
- Elicit and articulate information requirements for data and business partners
- Identify data elements to address reporting requirements
- Improve existing reporting to eliminate errors and redundancies
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and derived insight analysis
- Communicate project status and system capabilities
- Provide advisory and consultative services on multi-format data visualization
- Conduct functional and enterprise-level analysis and make recommendations
- Lead or facilitate remediation plans for performance, risk, and governance issues
- Manage relationships across business lines, corporate functions, and control functions
- Provide thought leadership and industry knowledge
- Mentor others and contribute to team capability development
- Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and day-to-day activities
- Act as a brand ambassador for the business area and TD Bank
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree or advanced technical degree preferred, such as mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science
- Graduate degree preferred
- Progressive project work experience may accompany a graduate degree
- Expert knowledge of enterprise and industry reporting and business intelligence platforms, tools, and techniques
- Expertise using organizational data sources and integrating data across multiple platforms
- Expertise in data visualization techniques and tools
- Ability to work across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Ability to manage communication at senior and executive levels
- Ability to undertake complex projects requiring specialist knowledge or cross-functional process integration
- Ability to oversee or independently perform tasks end-to-end
- Ability to comply with internal and external requirements, financial controls, segregation of duties, and transaction approvals
- Ability to conduct research, analysis, and risk/governance assessment
- Ability to use sedentary work, operate standard office equipment, perform multiple tasks, and concentrate for long periods
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel

- Base salary of $91,000.00–$136,240.00 USD
