Job Description
Clinical Territory Associate supporting Intuitive Surgical’s robotic-assisted surgery business in Birmingham. Assisting surgeon training, hospital robotics development, technical education, and territory sales.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Birmingham team in a 24+ month developmental role
- Gain knowledge across technical, clinical, and sales aspects of the business
- Assist sales representatives with surgeon trainings, hospital robotic development, and territory management
- Guide technical in-services for customers, including operating room staff and surgeons
- Sell the benefits of advanced technology to existing robotic users and contribute to team quotas
- Gain experience in goal setting, territory mapping, and attainment in preparation for a future quota-bearing role
- Manage administrative tasks, including sales/procedure reporting, sales activity outcomes, and expense reports
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of leadership (military) experience or 1 year of outside sales experience required
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proven record of success
- Ambition and exceptional work ethic
- Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Candidates must live within or be willing to relocate to the Birmingham, AL area
- Current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19, may be required
