Job Description

Clinical Territory Associate supporting Intuitive’s da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery systems. Developing clinical expertise, customer adoption, and sales activities across a Norwegian territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Clinical Sales Manager to develop technical, clinical, and sales expertise
  • Train to become a da Vinci Surgical System technical and sales expert across primary surgical specialties
  • Develop surgical robotics programs in the assigned territory
  • Support the assigned region by maximizing utilization of installed da Vinci Surgical Systems
  • Provide case support and guidance, insight, and training to surgical teams using the da Vinci Surgical System
  • Lead technical product demonstrations and in-services for operating-room staff, surgeons, and other customers
  • Contribute to quarterly sales goals through product demonstrations, operating-room selling activities, and customer-support training
  • Support or coordinate regional sales and marketing development events
  • Create system awareness and procedure adoption through demonstrations, in-services, and selling activities
  • Manage sales and procedure reporting, sales-activity outcomes, expense reports, and assigned online modules using required company software
  • Act as a Medical Device Consultant after appropriate training and provide guidance on proper handling of Intuitive medical devices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 1 year sales experience or 1 year leadership experience
  • Fluent in English and local language as required
  • Ambition and strong work ethic
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Sales degree is a plus
  • Must complete appropriate training to act as a Medical Device Consultant in accordance with legal requirements
  • Candidates may be subject to U.S. export-control licensing or a Technology Control Plan, if applicable
