Job Description
Clinical Territory Associate supporting da Vinci robotic-assisted surgery systems in Denmark. Developing surgical programs through clinical training, product demonstrations, customer support, and sales activities.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Clinical Sales Manager to gain knowledge of technical, clinical, and sales aspects of the business
- Train to become a da Vinci Surgery technical and sales expert across primary surgical specialties
- Develop surgical robotics programs in the assigned territory
- Focus on technical and clinical responsibilities during the first year
- Progress toward sales responsibilities during the second year
- Maximize utilization of installed da Vinci Surgical Systems
- Provide case support and guidance, insight, and training to surgical teams on use of the da Vinci Surgical System
- Lead technical product demonstrations and in-services for operating room staff, surgeons, and other customers
- Contribute to quarterly sales goals through product demonstrations, in-services, operating room selling activities, and customer support training
- Support or coordinate regional sales and marketing development events
- Create system awareness and procedure adoption through demonstrations, in-services, and selling activities
- Manage reporting of sales and procedures, sales activity outcomes, expense reports, and assigned online modules using required company software
- Provide guidance, insight, and support in the proper handling of Intuitive medical devices after appropriate training
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 1 year sales experience or 1 year leadership experience
- Fluent in English and local language as required
- Ambition and strong work ethic
- Ability to excel in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and persuasive communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to travel up to 70%
- Sales degree a plus
- Must comply with applicable medical device legal requirements and, after training, act as a Medical Device Consultant
- Certain roles may be subject to U.S. export controls, export licensing, and/or a Technology Control Plan
