Job Description
Collections Coordinator managing communications regarding delinquent accounts at law firm. Involves preparing collection e-mails, supporting payment plans and coordinating with attorneys.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate communications with clients regarding delinquent accounts
- Prepare and send collection e-mails
- Support payment plan arrangements
- Research, analyze and help resolve issues by coordinating with billing and handling attorneys
- Assist with performing account reconciliations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in coordinating communications with clients regarding delinquent accounts
- Experience in collections and accounts receivable at a law firm preferred
- Ability to effectively interact with attorneys regarding their accounts receivables
- Solid computer skills in Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Proficiency in Legal Billing Systems, Aderant, Collections, ARCS Software, Filesite or iManage preferred
- Knowledge of the Appeals and Deductions process
- Some college experience in accounting preferred
