Job Description

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and build strong client relationships; prepare proposals and lead negotiations. Split time between internal planning and external client visits while collaborating with technical teams to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities in the environmental sector.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and offering appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and participate in client presentations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, presenting tailored solutions that meet client needs and create value for both parties.
  • Approximately 50% of the time will be dedicated to internal activities such as client meetings, planning, and proposal preparation, and 50% to external client visits.
  • Conduct market analyses and identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor performance indicators and commercial targets.
  • Register and participate in public and private portals to take part in competitive bidding processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Business Administration, or related fields required.
  • Postgraduate degree or specialization in the environmental field preferred; established network of contacts in the environmental sector; project management experience; and knowledge of public tenders, auctions, competitive bidding and procurement processes.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales or consultancy in the environmental sector, preferably in contaminated site management and/or waste management, required.
  • Strong negotiation skills and contract-closing ability.
  • Knowledge of environmental legislation and industry best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with RD Station CRM and other technological tools that support client management and sales tracking.
