Job Description
Travel Consultant using Amadeus to arrange corporate travel for BCD Travel clients. Advising travelers on policies, fares, regulations, and reservation changes.
Responsibilities:
- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Consult customers based on their travel policies
- Fulfill requests regarding DOT, TSA, passports, visas, and other necessary regulations
- Provide industry information including low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
- Review operational processes and commercial relationships with clients and suggest improvements
- Maintain and expand current knowledge of supported travel industries
- Communicate and respond to requests from current and new clients
- Provide travel consultation to help clients travel smart and achieve more
Requirements:
- Travel agent experience
- Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Knowledge of DOT, TSA, passport, and visa regulations
