Job Description
Community Lead growing Kraken Pro’s trader community across social and trading channels. Building ambassador programs, rapid market communications, and product feedback loops for a global crypto platform.
Responsibilities:
- Participate directly in Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and relevant group chats
- Publish rapid, accurate communications during chain halts, listings, and major market movements
- Build and operate ambassador and power-user programs for market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders
- Host AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, and post-mortems
- Relay product issues and community feedback to Product, then communicate outcomes back to the community
- Write threads about market microstructure, feature teardowns, and accessible release notes
- Measure sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced signups, and retention of important accounts
- Support Kraken Pro, a crypto trading platform offering spot trading, margin, futures, staking, OTC services, and an API
Requirements:
- 3+ years running community or social for a product with a technical, skeptical audience; crypto, fintech, gaming, or dev tools experience counts
- Active trader with knowledge of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency
- Strong short-form and long-form writing ability
- Ability to de-escalate community conflict and push back appropriately
- Experience building a community or account from a standing start
- Ability to operate independently without a detailed brief
- Comfort with ambiguity in a rapidly shipping and reorganizing company
