Job Description

Contracts Manager providing life-cycle management of US Government contracts for DLH. Ensuring contractual compliance and collaborating with project managers across divisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day life-cycle management of the company's Contracts, including US Government contracts for all divisions
  • Support project managers in program execution ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance
  • Supports proposal activities, including review of contractual terms
  • Develop relationships with both contracting officers and subcontractors.
  • Leads subcontracting and procurement activities under prime contracts
  • Develops and prepares complex routine internal and external communications
  • Produces or contributes to the production of client and/or internal financial reports, including pipeline analyses and funding projections
  • Performs additional duties, including special projects as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and at least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracts, grants, subcontracts, and procurement management
  • Demonstrated experience organizing, problem-solving, and multitasking under tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with little supervision
  • Leading negotiations with subcontractors, including terms and conditions, price, and schedule
  • Familiarity with Gov.-approved procurement systems with CPSR experience is desired
  • Experience working with ERP Systems
  • Knowledge of the FAR and other agency supplements
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to identify areas of risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
  • Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
