Job Description
Contracts Manager providing life-cycle management of US Government contracts for DLH. Ensuring contractual compliance and collaborating with project managers across divisions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day life-cycle management of the company's Contracts, including US Government contracts for all divisions
- Support project managers in program execution ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance
- Supports proposal activities, including review of contractual terms
- Develop relationships with both contracting officers and subcontractors.
- Leads subcontracting and procurement activities under prime contracts
- Develops and prepares complex routine internal and external communications
- Produces or contributes to the production of client and/or internal financial reports, including pipeline analyses and funding projections
- Performs additional duties, including special projects as required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and at least 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in government contracts, grants, subcontracts, and procurement management
- Demonstrated experience organizing, problem-solving, and multitasking under tight deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work well with little supervision
- Leading negotiations with subcontractors, including terms and conditions, price, and schedule
- Familiarity with Gov.-approved procurement systems with CPSR experience is desired
- Experience working with ERP Systems
- Knowledge of the FAR and other agency supplements
- Critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to identify areas of risks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
- Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Ability to multitask and operate in a fast-moving environment.
