Job Description
Interim Controller leading accounting operations, close processes, cash forecasting, and year-end for a PE-backed global media company. Remote 3-month contract with potential extension to six months.
Responsibilities:
- Lead accounting operations for a PE-backed global company
- Strengthen close processes and accrual accounting
- Oversee daily cash forecasting
- Guide the team through year-end
- Establish close calendars, SOPs, and checklists
- Improve reporting and support timely management reporting
- Oversee global, multi-entity consolidations
- Support adaptation to new ERP systems
Requirements:
- Hands-on Controller experience with strong operational accounting and team leadership skills
- Expertise in accrual accounting, including schedules, reversals, and supporting documentation
- Proven ability to establish close calendars, SOPs, checklists, and timely management reporting
- Experience overseeing global, multi-entity consolidations
- Strong cash management and cash forecasting experience
- Strong ERP skills, with the ability to improve reporting and quickly adapt to new systems
- Sage Intacct experience preferred
- PE portfolio and lender compliance reporting experience preferred
- Media or advertising industry experience preferred
