Job Description
Corporate Designer evaluating and refining AI-generated decks, documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs for Mercor. Shaping polished business outputs used to train frontier AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Compare AI-generated versions of the same deliverable and score them across layout & spacing, typography, colour, domain realism, and polish
- Rework the strongest candidate to reference quality
- Provide clear justifications tied to specific layout evidence, including alignment, spacing, balance, grouping, and density
- Apply design judgment to real corporate client materials
- Review and rework AI-generated decks, documents, spreadsheets, and PDFs
- Contribute human expertise to training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Background as a designer, marketing/comms professional, or knowledge-work specialist
- Experience in management consulting, investment banking, in-house corporate design, agency work, or marcom fits
- Ability to spot subtle layout inconsistencies, including alignment gaps, unequal card heights, dead space, and margin discipline
- Ability to articulate design judgments in writing
- Resume submission
- Completion of the Corporate Designer calibration assessment (~45 minutes)
- Unable to support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
