Job Description
Senior learning designer creating eLearning solutions for Humana’s healthcare and insurance services. Developing curricula, performance support, and assessments for adult learners and customer experience improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and organize content, design learning solutions, and create storyboards, scripts, performance support materials, mobile learning, and manuals
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and provide input for course content
- Write learning goals and coordinate performance assessments to measure training effectiveness
- Ensure course materials are current and aligned with training needs
- Track and analyze training program effectiveness through learner satisfaction, proficiency testing, and job performance improvement
- Provide instruction and guidance to facilitators
- Utilize social media and collaborative tools to facilitate learning
- Shape and develop training curriculum, materials, and job aids
- Conduct needs analyses with clients to determine the necessity and relevance of learning solutions
- Influence departmental strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components
- Determine goals and approaches to assignments independently
- Work on projects and meetings requiring occasional travel to Humana offices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- At least 3 years of experience in learning design focused on adult learners
- Minimum 2 years in a consumer-facing position demonstrating customer orientation
- Proficiency with Articulate 360, including Storyline and Rise
- Experience with eLearning strategies and adult learning theories
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement of member and customer experiences
- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, or equivalent tools
- Minimum 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload internet speed
- Dedicated workspace without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
