Job Description
Cut-Over Manager leading SAP and IT transformation migrations for principal33’s enterprise clients. Coordinating Go-Live planning, readiness, risk management, and stabilization.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage activities for transitioning from the existing LEW system landscape to the client's target platform
- Develop, plan, and oversee cut-over activities for test migrations 0 through 3, the dress rehearsal, Go-Live, and subsequent stabilization phase
- Build, maintain, and continuously update the local cut-over concept in coordination with the central project
- Develop and manage the integrated cut-over plan across relevant streams and stakeholders
- Coordinate local cut-over activities with central OneBilling cut-over and migration leads
- Monitor readiness criteria for cut-over and Go-Live
- Coordinate production-related activities ahead of Go-Live
- Build and manage transition risk management for the production environment
- Prepare and facilitate Go/No-Go decisions
- Track progress and build reporting structures
- Report to project management, including the Business Owner and Tech Owner
Requirements:
- Several years of experience as a Cut-Over Manager, Migration Manager, or Project Manager in complex IT transformation projects
- Experience planning and executing production-critical Go-Lives
- Experience in complex IT and SAP transformation projects, ideally in the utilities sector (IS-U)
- Experience managing multi-stream projects with significant functional and technical dependencies
- Experience in risk management, readiness criteria, and Go/No-Go processes
- Structured and methodical approach to planning and executing migration and transition scenarios
- Strong communication and coordination skills across diverse stakeholder groups
