Job Description
Dev-Ops Engineer developing and managing the infrastructure for AI-powered mortgage solutions at Saaf Finance. Collaborating with teams to enhance data and automation in fintech.
Responsibilities:
- Provision & manage AWS: Design, deploy, and maintain VPCs, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM using IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
- CI/CD at scale: Build and optimize GitHub Actions pipelines for backend and frontend; enable zero‑downtime releases.
- Containers & serverless: Operate ECS/Fargate and Lambda workloads with safe rollout strategies.
- Observability: Implement production‑grade monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK or similar).
- Automation: Script infra tasks, feature flagging, and environment provisioning.
- Security: Enforce cloud security best practices across IAM, network segmentation, and secrets (SSM / Secrets Manager).
- Data platform support: Support ETL jobs, Snowflake, and dbt workflows used by data/analytics.
- Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Data, and QA; ship reliably using Notion and Linear for coordination.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in DevOps/SRE or similar.
- Deep AWS experience and strong IaC (Terraform preferred).
- Strong CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions.
- Hands‑on with containers and serverless architectures.
- Monitoring/logging/incident management experience.
- Scripting in Bash/Python/Node.js.
- Solid grasp of cloud security (least privilege, segmentation, secrets).
- Experience with Snowflake and data engineering workflows (ETL, dbt).
- Exposure to Kubernetes and orchestration tools; understanding of event‑driven pipelines (Step Functions, Temporal).
