Job Description

DevOps Engineer at Sellers Dorsey responsible for automating software development, testing, and monitoring processes. Collaborating closely with the development and operations teams in healthcare consulting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks
  • Design, build, and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines
  • Manage cloud infrastructure Azure including provisioning, scaling, and configuration management
  • Set up monitoring systems to identify potential issues in production environments
  • Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and system administrators to identify and resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
  • 5 years of related experience
  • CISSP, CISM, AZ-500, SC-300, SC-200 certification(s) preferred
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, Ruby, and PowerShell preferred
  • Expertise in Git and related branching strategies
  • Deep understanding of cloud platform Azure
  • Terraform experience is a must
  • Experience with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Knowledge of Sonar, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and solve security and operational challenges
  • Ability to work closely with development, operations, and security teams
